Poqasoft is a video game software engineering company based in the UK.
We make games with classic twitchy gameplay, live recorded Electronica-Metal soundtracks and modern 3D stylized graphics for Linux and Windows 10/11 PC, with native Linux support for Steam Deck and Steam Machine.

Poqasoft games are developed on Linux using our custom, in-house game engine and run directly on the SteamOS based Steam Deck and Steam Machine (no Proton compatibility tool required).
The Windows 10 & 11 version is built from the Linux version's codebase so both OSes are fully synchronised.
Historically, most video games had a demo version, but these days publishers tend to eschew demos for game trailers and heavy marketing. However, we believe that you should be able to try before you buy, so we always offer big demo versions of our games.
There is no AI generated art, music or code in our games, everything you see, hear and feel is hand crafted by humans.
Poqasoft games do not use DRM (Digital Rights Management) technologies, the only dependency is that the game is launched from the Steam client to enable features such as online leaderboards and achievements.
Poqasoft games do not collect any personal data when you play them. The only data that is generated is a log.txt file on your PC which logs the game's startup and shutdown process, and various hardware and software info which is useful for resolving game issues (debugging) and support requests.
We make complete games so we don't envisage any DLC (Downloadable Content) packages. We do regulary update games with bug fixes, quality improvements and new hardware support though.
When you buy any Poqasoft game, a licence to play a game's OST (Original Sound Track) is included in the purchase. In the game's local files folder you will find high quality compressed MP3 (extreme 320kbps CBR), and lossless FLAC and WAV files. You are free to copy these music files to any music player, PC or smart-phone for your own personal use and listening pleasure.
